Az idén 82 életévét betöltő Frank Lowy Füleken született és Budapesten vészelte át a háborút. 1946-ban Franciaországon át az akkori brit mandátum alatt álló Palesztinába ment, ahol a Haganah és a Golani Brigád tagjaként harcolt. 1958-ban érkezett Ausztráliába, mára pedig az ország egyik leggazdagabb embere lett, vagyonát ingatlanfejlesztőként gyűjtötte. Sydney-ben itt él - háza tetején teniszpálya található. Alapítója és igazgatója többet között a Westfield csoportnak is, melynek tagja London legnagyobb luxus bevásárlóközpontja.

82-year old Frank Lowy was born in Fülek (today Slovakia) and survived the war in Budapest. In 1946 he reached through France the British Mandate of Palestina, and was fighting as member of the Haganah
and the Golani Brigade. He arrived in 1958 to Australia, where today he is one of the richest man in the country, making his fortune in real estate. This is his house in Sydney - with a tennis court on the rooftop. Among others he is founder and director of the Westfield-Group, owner of the most luxurious shopping centre in London.
