One of the best hotels in the world, leading the list in Central-Europe as a luxury destination, for us surely the most beautiful hotel building. It was concluded in 1907 in Sezession/Art Nouveau style, is part of the World Heritage since 1987 and was renovated in 2004. Both restaurants looking onto Chain Bridge and Danube have floor-to-ceiling windows, the art deco bar (pictured above) opening from the lobby with vaulted glass roof (passage) is always open and on the top floor guests can indulge themselves in spa, indoor pool and fitness room. Further photos taken during the renovation about the details of the building (e.g. stained glass from Róth Miksa) here.P.S. Hotel Gresham is Budapest's finest hotel, a bit Gaudi and very Agatha Christie!
