The rooftop of Selfridges department store was opened for the first time since WW2 in London recently, refurbished with thousands of plants, a boating lake and a cocktail bar.

Before its bombing in 1940 the roof terrace was popular due to the fashion shows taking place as well as operated a restaurant, cafe, golf-course and an all-women gun club.

Az épületet mára gyönyörűen felújították, a tetőteraszról (mely szintén szolgálhat divatbemutatók helyszínéül) továbbra is fantasztikus kilátás nyílik a budai hegyekre és a teljes Andrássy útra - csak épp nagyrészt kihasználatlanul hever.
The refurbishment of the building was concluded, guests still can enjoy a spectacular view (or sometimes fashion shows) from the rooftop on the Buda hills and on Andrássy avenue - the terrace itself however is an idle place.
